About the Band
Mission
"Tell the Army Story" - The United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Band provides musical support for TRADOC's areas of interest by fostering troop morale, unit esprit, and relationships between the Army and civilian communities. In all activities, the Soldiers of the TRADOC Band will exemplify the excellence of America's Army.
Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic outreach for the Commanding General, The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command
- Provide military musical support
- Conduct community relations performances
- Support recruiting initiatives
- Conduct educational outreach programs
- Support force protection operations
Structure
The TRADOC Band is a subordinate unit to the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs (OCPA), the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command. These units coordinate a variety of functions, some of which include public performances and military ceremonies.
